It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Tomasa Leonor Saavedra, who departed this world peacefully at the age of 92. A cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Tomasa came to this country with the profound hope of providing a better life for her children, Jeannett, Fernando and Soraya. Her journey was one of unwavering dedication and love, and her sacrifices have been the foundation upon which our family stands today. Abuelita, as so many lovingly called her, was a beacon of strength and faith. Her deep love of God was evident in every word and action. Her home was a haven of warmth and kindness, and she embraced life with an open heart and a generous spirit. Her love and guidance shaped not only her immediate family but also many who had the privilege of knowing her. 

In her final moments, Abuelita was surrounded by the loving presence of her children and grandchildren, which is a testament to the rich and fulfilling life she lived. Though we mourn her loss, we find solace in the enduring legacy of her love and faith that will continue to inspire and guide us. We will remember Tomasa for her boundless love, unwavering faith, and the immeasurable impact she had on all our lives. Her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
