Tenzing Choklang

Tenzing Choklang passed away the afternoon of February 14, 2024 in the presence of his loved ones - family and extended family, whose lives he touched in many special ways. Tenzing is survived by his loving wife - Tenzing Yangzom Chadotsang, and their three children - Lobsang Dorjee, Sonam Dorjee, and Zenden Dorjee. 

Born on April 14, 1961, Tenzing spent his early years in Shillong, and later in Bangalore, India. Tenzing was a devoted family man - a devoted son to Lobsang Tenzing and Lhamo Tso; responsible brother to two sisters Tsering Lhamo, and Rinzing Tsomo; a cool uncle to Sonam Dorjee, Kaldan Dorjee Musgrave, and Tenzing Chonzom; a loving husband, a caring father and advisor and friend to his extended family and friends.  

Tenzing's first love of good food superceded his talents as a TaeKwonDo champion. Tenzing turned his passion into his profession and was successful in operating  restaurants and eateries. Tenzing was a very private person, with a dry sense of humor - but a completely different person with family and friends. A listener and jokester, he was a very easy going person who loved watching travel channels and cooking  shows and an avid History channel viewer. He loved his family deeply and cherished the good times spent with his loved ones. He will be missed.
