Gathered here in remembrance of a truly remarkable woman, we celebrate the life and legacy of Rosemarie Goulart. Born on May 16, 1955, in the vibrant surrounds of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Rosemarie lived a life that was as enlightening as it was devoted. She departed on November 13, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving behind a legacy rich in love, faith, and generosity. From her early years, Rosemarie exhibited exceptional promise, in her early school days she was an advanced placement student. She worked 35 years in the medical field caring for her patients and the doctors who treated them like they were her family. She went all out to care for people. She received a first ever award for outstanding service at her company. Patients would come back to thank her for all she did for them. She loved arts and crafts making beautiful things for the people she cared about. Decorating outside her home to celebrate the holidays, especially Christmas for others to experience joy as they passed by her house. She loved music and she sang with her heart and danced like the Queen of soul! She loved to laugh and have fun.
She was an absolutely beautiful woman inside and out. Her name Rose was perfect to describe her. Her enthusiasm for life and her vibrant spirit was a light towards others. Yet, of all her accomplishments, Rosemarie's profound faith in Christianity was her guiding light. She was an ambassador for the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ, she introduced countless people to His teachings and served tirelessly in His name. Whether it was through a heartfelt prayer or a humble gesture, Rosemarie was a living embodiment of Christ's love, always ensuring that those in need received care and compassion. People who knew her not just for her faith, but for her unwavering positivity and selflessness. Her life were her children Allen, Christine, her cherished grandson Ethan, and son in law whom she loved with all of her heart, were her world. She poured every ounce of her heart and soul into them. Nothing brought her more joy than being with her loved ones and serving as their confidant and anchor. She was an amazing mother, sacrificed so much for them as they were her heart. Rosemarie's optimistic outlook, heartfelt laughter, and undying devotion to her family and faith were the cornerstones of her remarkable life. Her loving mother Mercedes predeceased her, and she is survived by a sisters Norma, Teresa, and brother Robert she loved immensely. She was a faithful daughter to her mother, always there in times of need. She loved all her niece's and nephews immensely and always looked forward to seeing them. Rosemarie blessed the world with her unwavering faith that shined. Despite having many physical challenges that affected her body, she sought strength to endure things through God and His holy spirit for physical, mental, and spiritual strength. God would take her broken body and give her strength to overcome it and she would testify about it to others to show them His power is real. She loved to pray and praise God. Rosemarie was kindness personified, extending her heart to everyone, whether lifelong friends or strangers in need. In every joy shared and challenge faced, her family & friends remained her priority, her wellspring of purpose and pride. Her siblings, who survive her, will miss her dearly but hold tightly to the memories of her affectionate and unyielding spirit. Rosemarie's faith made her a living example of Christ's teachings—always optimistic, always giving. Her love and faith knew no bounds, whether she was praying, providing a listening ear, or simply turning encounters into cherished friendships. She was a true champion for Christ, leading a life rich in faith and compassion. May her legacy be our guide as we go through life. Aspiring to the same love and devotion she showed so naturally. Rosemarie's spirit resonated deeply with everyone that knew her. She truly embodied the principles of Christ Jesus, offering grace and guidance freely to all. As we move forward, may her example be a beacon for living fully, as she did with compassion, faith, and boundless love. Rest in the Lord-Jesus Rosemarie, mom, grandma, sister, daughter, aunt, & best friend. Be secure in the embrace of the Lord, Jesus Christ whom you cherished and served dearly everyday, Amen.
