Pornsawan Piluek

Pornsawan "Pam" Piluek, 73, passed peacefully in her sleep on August 10th 2023. She was born October 13th 1949 to Supaporn and Vichien Choochoti. 

Pam, a kind, generous and loving wife and mother are survived by her devoted husband Punya, her daughter Jantratip, and her son in law Zach.

Pam met Punya when she was still in her teens. They worked together in Bangkok and soon fell in love. She married Punya in 1972 and together they moved to the United States to start a new life and new adventure. Through many struggles they began to build a life together and in time had their only child Jantratip.  

She was diagnosed with cancer in 1988 and thankfully, went into remission in 1990. She was a cancer survivor of 35 years. She was so strong and went through so much.

Pam was kind and generous.  She will be remembered for both her incredible cooking and her amazingly beautiful calligraphy.  She loved to meet and talk to people and was a good and caring soul.  She touched the lives of so many people. She will be greatly missed,

Services for Pornsawan "Pam" Piluek will be held on August 12 and 13th from 5pm - 8pm both days at Gerard J Neufeld Funeral Home 88-04 43rd Ave. Elmhurst, NY 11373
