Orazio Sirignano Obituary

Orazio Sirignano passed away on March 30, 2026.  He was a devoted and loving husband and father, brother, uncle, cousin and a good friend.

Orazio was known as “Oro” to family and friends.  He was the first born on May 25, 1959 to parents Luigi and Carmela, in Boston, MA.  He grew up in Everett, MA with his brothers and sister, and cousins. Together they spent many days riding their bikes, playing in the yard, playing on the street with the neighborhood kids or nearby Babe Ruth park.  Orazio attended Everett schools and enjoyed playing sports in which he was very competitive.

Orazio was an avid and fast reader, having collected many books over the years.  He enjoyed playing board games, tinkering with gadgets and electronics, building models and restoring old things.  He took great pleasure in listening to all kinds of music and had interest in photography.  After graduating from Everett High School, Orazio attended Franklin Institute of Boston and Northeastern University earning degrees in Electrical Engineering.

Orazio’s greatest joy in life came with the birth of his daughter Ciara.  Fatherhood was so important to him as he cherished every moment they shared together and he devoted his life to Ciara. Orazio touched many through his genuine caring and curiosity, willing to talk and listen to anyone. He developed long term friendships with a handful of people who he truly admired.

Orazio leaves behind his loving wife, Marichu; daughter Ciara; his siblings, Ben, Lou, Anthony, MaryAnn and their Spouses; Nieces and Nephews; his Uncle Guido; many Cousins and good Friends.
