Neva Togonon Fajardo, affectionately known as “Nevs” lived a colorful life.
Born in the Philippines on June 14, 1957, Neva grew up in a beautiful family of ten with three gorgeous sisters, four handsome brothers, and loving parents. From a young age, Neva excelled academically and was affectionately called the ‘Valedictorian’ by her childhood friends. Throughout her life, Neva made long lasting friendships. Some that span over five decades with her loving classmates from high school. Neva was an accountant by trade: Meticulous, methodical, and a masterclass at her art. Although intense when she donned her vibrant, work blazers, Neva was a kind and gentle soul who made sure her family, friends, and clients alike found the help they needed.
Neva took delight in taking care of her plants that dotted her home, and as an avid lover of line dancing, Neva attended all the annual accounting conventions of her chapter to participate in Line dancing with her friends. Throughout the work week, Neva would watch her favorite Filipino ‘teleseryes’, or Television shows at night with her family, and would then be off to ‘lakwatsa’, or hangout with her friends somewhere in the Tri-state area on the weekends. In her last few years, Neva traveled around the globe visiting beautiful countries and made sure to share on Facebook, without missing a beat, the breathtaking places she laid eyes on. While trekking the globe, Neva made sure to make pilgrimage to the historic churches around the world as a testament to her devotion and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her five siblings and her son. She joins her loving husband, Ramoncito, her parents, Gloria and Crisostomo, and siblings, Rony and Gladys, in the eternal paradise promised by our Lord.
