Matthew Cesarano

Matthew Cesarano, devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and cherished neighbor, left us
on October 25, 2024, at the age of 84.

Matthew was born on March 6, 1940, in East Harlem, NY, where he was raised in a close-knit
community that shaped his values of loyalty, kindness, and dedication. Throughout his career, he
owned several successful businesses and excelled in sales and management roles with national
companies, earning a reputation for his friendly nature and dedication, along with numerous
awards as a top performer.

Matthew’s kindness and loyalty extended to everyone he met. In his Elmhurst, NY community,
where he and his beloved wife Frances shared over 60 years of life together, he was known for
his humor, resilience, service to others, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Matthew bravely battled coronary heart disease since his 40s, demonstrating strength and
patience throughout. His greatest joy in life was his family. Married for 64 years to his wife,
Frances, he leaves behind a legacy of love through his son, Carl, and his wife, Martha; his
daughter, Fay, and her husband, Joseph; and his beloved grandchildren, Melissa, Giada, and
Nicholeta.

Matthew’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and
community. He will always be remembered for his loyalty, humor, mentoring, passion for art,
and boundless kindness.
