Luis Fernando Perez

The family of Luis Fernando Perez is deeply saddened to announce his passing on June 23, 2026. Born on December 26, 1992, in Queens, NY.

Luis lived a life filled with laughter, happiness, music, and sports. A passionate fan of fútbol, he could always be found on or off the field, cheering on his favorite teams: Barcelona, América de Cali, and his beloved Colombia. A New Yorker through and through, he also followed the NY Mets and the NY Knicks.

Luis was a devoted father to Olivia and Samarah, instilling in them the happiness and fun-loving nature that characterized his personality. He is survived by his wife Brigitte and his daughters, Olivia and Samarah.

Luis will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his parents, Miriam Janeth Diaz and Francisco Perez; his parents-in-law, Ilberto and Derly Tibana. His sister Jessica Neptune, brother Juan Francisco Perez, brother-in-law Yehisson Tibana along with extended family members, friends and coworkers.
