In memory of Leonne Deer. Leonne was a dynamic American with roots in Port-au-Prince Haiti. Upon moving to the United States, she was a 28 year employee of United Parcel Service of which she served in the Internal Services department as the Supervising Keypunch Operator. In addition, her wonderfully kind spirit served with Blessed Sacrament Church as a member of the Legion of Mary spreading good works without the need of praise and recognition. Her proudest moments were at the service of the Catholic Church by means of spreading the Word of God, feeding the homeless, and volunteering time for various church functions.
The Fabulous Leonne loved to travel to many regions of the world. In her retirement years, Leonne took the chance to see many regions of the globe whilst sharing her adventures with those willing to take the challenge of globe trotting.
Leonne’s infamous streak for get-togethers via family functions are quite well known by means of her fabulously famous cooking of American/Haitian/Asian fusion cooking. Her combination of fresh ingredients always kept hungry mouths fed and family unions deliciously entertaining. Leonne’s variety of cakes were known to be of extreme exaltation and add inches to the waistline. Her heart, soul, and joy was forever a giving spirit to those in need of help. Leonne is truly an inspiration of generosity, joy, spirituality, and perseverance.
Leonne graduated to the highest spiritual realm on June 15, 2021 in serenity with Mireille and Michael at her side. May the love of the Lord forever accompany her in jubilation.
