Laura Elena Luciano

Laura Elena (Perez) Luciano, 84, of Elmhurst, NY, passed away Tuesday March 28, 2023 at her
home. She was born August 14, 1938 in Guanica, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Jose and Julia
(Lopez) Perez.

Laura moved to New York in her late teens with her family. She later married Ezequiel Luciano.
Laura lived her life with tenacity, joy, and spirit. She was the life of the party wherever she went.
Never missing a chance to be social, dance, or laugh. She was always camera ready with a
smile. She was beloved by family and friends.

Laura’s greatest joy in life was her family and never let a day go by where she didn’t let them
know she loved them. She never let a phone call end with her grandchildren without saying “I
love you too much."

Laura is survived by her two daughters Edith Luciano of Kew Gardens and Kelly (Patrick)
Stafford of Paducah, KY; she was devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, Laura (Joseph)
Rivera, Giovanni (Cassie) Machin, Jasmine (Mike) Viola, Shannon (Chris) Stafford-Elfrink, Kevin (Kayla)
Stafford, and Erin Stafford; four great grandchildren Michael Viola, Mallory Viola, Elizabeth
Elfrink, and Liliana Rivera; sister Maria Aldolfina McDougal; brother Cesar Norberto Perez;
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister
Carmen Julia Ferreira; brothers Jose Maria Perez and Jose Antonio Perez.
