Jesus G. Espina

It is with great sadness that the Espina Family announces that Jesus G. Espina, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 16, 2025 at New York Presbyterian Milstein Hospital.
A celebration of life service will take place on June 20, 2025 at Neufeld Funeral Home with visitation between 3-8 pm. There will be a mass at St. Bartholomew’s Church on June 21, 2025 at 9:45 am. Cremation will be held after the mass at Fresh Pond Cemetery at 11:00 am.
Jesse was born on Dec. 20, 1951 to Tirso Espina and Purificacion Gungon in Malabon, Philippines.
He earned a degree in Bachelor of Science with Major in Zoology from Far Eastern University. He came to America in 1980 and worked at Sidney Barbanell Consulting firm for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tirso and Purificacion. He is survived by his siblings, Rosario and Generato from the Philippines, Elenita from CT and Joselito from Queens, NY, brother-in-law, Romeo, and sister-in-law, Relita . He is adored by his nephews, Edgar, Edwin,and Edel Espina, Ronnie and Rinno Cruz, Andrew Lee, Jeremy and Riley Espina. He also has eleven grandnephews and grandnieces.
Jesus will be remembered as a wonderful man, a loving brother, awesome uncle and a great friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lustgarten Foundation to fund research and give all cancer patients more hope for the future.
