Dad married Mom, Teresita Agtarap, on May 1, 1968.  In 1969, Dad and Mom made the decision to move to the United States, settling in New York City.  Together they raised 3 boys, Jaime Jr., Emmanuel and Jared.  Dad is, also, the father to the late Marie Soriano from his first marriage with late Consuelo De Mesa.

Dad was an accomplished accountant working for the City of New York having obtained a Master in Business Administration from New York University in 1974 and was on the faculty for Fordham University, Monroe College and Interboro Institute.

Dad opened his eyes with the Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 1:09 a.m. survived by a loving devoted wife, three sons, daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren and many relatives near and far.

Our family is deeply grateful to God for giving him life and giving him to us.  He lived on this earth for 87 virtuous years.

Dad will be missed, deeply, but will forever be loved and will always live in our hearts and memories.

Thank you to all our family and friends who have supported us during this difficult time.

God Be With You,

The Soriano Family

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14: 2-3)

“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord” (Romans 14:8)
