Ines Mamposo

If angels on earth exist, our family would say that we were fortunate to have a beautiful angel as one of the
core pillars of our family, our beloved Ines. She was the most loving mother, daughter, wife, friend, Aunt and
sister. Her life was not an easy one. She experienced many hardships while living in Cuba and after
migrating to the United States. Once she was here, she worked tirelessly in an electronic company and
balanced being a primary caregiver to her elderly parents, Papá and Mamá as well her disabled brother
Lele. She was always present for her daughter and husband; providing the love, dedication and time that
they needed. She was truly a remarkable warrior.
Everyone who came in contact with my mother would say that she would be the first person to help and
support someone in need including her friends and family, especially her sister in Cuba. Despite the
difficulties she experienced in her life including facing serious health conditions, she never took life for
granted and fought to stay here with us until the very end. Her smile, stubborn but funny personality and
radiating light will be a part of us forever. Although we will miss her terribly, we are comforted knowing that
she is no longer in pain and is reunited with her loved ones.
You will be deeply missed Ines, Inesita, Mami, Tía– we all have our special name for you. You will always be
in our hearts and your spirit will live in all of us. May you rest in eternal peace and light our angel.
