Domingo was born on April 14, 1934, to loving parents in Cuba that would shape his character and values. Domingo's warm and caring nature extended beyond his immediate family. He was a true friend, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His genuine interest in others and his ability to make everyone feel valued created lasting connections that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In his leisure time, Domingo found solace in spending time with his family, fishing and watching baseball and old western movies. He was a remarkable individual who served as the superintendent of a building in Elmhurst, and will be remembered as an extraordinary man of dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment. Despite the passing years, Domingo continued to fulfill his responsibilities with passion and vigor, retiring only at the incredible age of 84. His tireless efforts and genuine care for the building and its residents made him an exceptional super and a beloved member of the community.
Domingo leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Domingo Bermudez is survived by his devoted wife, Felicita, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also, a wide circle of extended family and friends who find solace in the cherished memories they shared with him.
