Walter J. Carroll, Jr. passed away October 29, 2019. He was born in New York City to Pearl Carroll, nee Ritter and Walter J. Carroll, Sr. on March 16, 1933. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Beatty and was awarded the Navy Occupation Service Medal. After his discharge he pursued a career in acting starring on the soap opera All My Children and various commercials. When he was not acting, you could find him singing at the Horse Shoe in Astoria, New York. Life took him in a slightly different direction when he became the back stage manager at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway. The Phantom of the Opera moved into that theatre and he became a valued member of the cast and crew for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Sandra, daughters Deirdre and Lisa, son-in-law Jason and grandson Jake.
